Training Priority Projects (TPP)
Training Priority Projects (TPP) supports innovative approaches to skilling and workforce development to drive productivity and participation improvements through skills for sectors, regions and communities.
Designed to complement existing approaches, TPP enables education providers and community-based organisations to work with regional, sector or industry level partners to address unmet or regionally specific and emerging skilling needs.
TPP are tailored, locally developed responses involving workforce planning, accredited training, non-accredited training and project management to provide relevant services or additional supports for participants.
With its strong emphasis on responding to unmet skills needs, delivering speed to market and connecting to opportunities to develop state-specific training products, TPP will focus on practical solutions to meeting the skill needs of industries and participants across South Australia.
Applicants are strongly encouraged to discuss their project concept with a Skills SA Consultant prior to commencing an application.

Skilling South Australia Projects
Skilling South Australia Projects continue to support apprenticeship opportunities for South Australians, providing exciting career pathways, backed by strong partnerships with industry and training providers.
The Department for Industry, Innovation and Science is currently seeking Skilling South Australia Project applications that support apprenticeships and traineeships in key South Australian industries. Projects will also focus on apprenticeship and traineeship commencements for individuals and groups traditionally under-represented across all industry sectors.
Applications open 15 March 2022 and close 30 September2022, with training contracts to commence on or before 1 March 2023.
SSA Projects funding is subject to demand and budget availability. Applications may close earlier if the budget is fully subscribed.
