What can I do if I’ve forgotten my password or username?
Visit Forgot Password, and then complete the form. You will receive an email with your login details.
If you have forgotten your username please visit Forgot Username or please contact us on 1800 673 097.
Is my information secure and private?
Yes, people only have access to information which is relevant to them, and access is through a secure login. You need to keep your login details secure so that others are not able to log in to your account.
What should I do if I think someone has gained access to my account without my permission?
You should contact the Department for Education as soon as possible on 1800 673 097. Our office hours are weekdays 8.30am to 5.30pm.
If an apprentice or trainee I employ has access to ATLAS, what information are they able to see?
Your apprentice or trainee only has access to information that relates to them and their training contract with you. They are not able to access other information about your business or other apprentices or trainees which you may employ.
What web browser can I use to access ATLAS on my phone or tablet?
We recommended using Chrome or Firefox to access ATLAS on a computer, and Chrome or Safari on Android and iOS devices.
How can I update my contact details or notification preferences?
To update your contact details you will need to be logged into your ATLAS account. Once logged in, click your username at the top-right of the screen and then select ‘My Profile’. On the window that appears click ‘Change Contact Details’ and follow the prompts. When you log on the next day it should be changed.
What is a secondary contact method?
A secondary contact method allows you to receive notifications via two different methods. If you choose a secondary contact method (e.g. mobile), you will receive notifications through both your primary and secondary contact methods.
How do I submit an application in ATLAS?

Can I still use hardcopy application forms?
Yes, but it will be a slower process than submitting a form via ATLAS. The online processing of applications will be faster.
What would happen if an employer uses ATLAS but their trainee does not?
If the trainee has chosen not to have online access, and needs to agree to a variation to their training contract, they will receive a letter requesting agreement. If the trainee has online access they would instead receive an email and/or SMS notification asking them to login to ATLAS and respond to the change.

As an employer, can I have multiple email addresses listed on ATLAS? Which email address will notifications be sent to?
You can have multiple email addresses if you have multiple worksites for the same organisation. You can choose for all notifications to be sent to the head office (this is the default option). Alternatively, you can selectively choose for notifications to be sent to a particular worksite. To set your notification preferences you will need to access ATLAS on a computer or laptop.
