Building Capability Projects

Applications are open for eligible vocational education and training providers to apply for Building Capability Projects.

You can apply for up to $50,000 for innovation, development, research and/or strategic projects that assist in building capability and capacity, share learnings with the VET sector and collaborate closely with industry partners.

Adult and Community Education

We fund community-based organisations to deliver projects that help people develop foundation skills in language, literacy, numeracy, computing and personal skills.

Equipped for Work

If you’re an employer or a Group Training Organisation (GTO) you can be reimbursed for the costs of goods and services essential to starting an apprenticeship or traineeship.

Travel and Accommodation Allowance

If your regional apprentice or trainee travels more than 150km to attend training, your business may be able to claim on their travel and accommodation costs.

JobTrainer Fund

The State Government will partner with training organisations to deliver courses accessible through JobTrainer.

JobTrainer is investing in skills and training in priority sectors as the economy begins to recover and grow. Short courses and qualifications to support further training including apprenticeships and traineeships will be available to students at low cost, with more information including a course list to be announced soon.
