Skilling South Australia Projects
Skilling South Australia Projects are Government-funded, co-designed skills projects with business and industry that drive apprenticeship and traineeship growth.
Skilling South Australia Projects were launched in 2018 and are supported by joint South Australian and Australian Government investment under the four-year National Partnership on the Skilling Australians Fund.
More than 230 Skilling South Australia Projects have been co-designed with industry and training providers to support workforce needs and address barriers to training and employment. These projects have also enabled innovative training and employment models to be piloted to meet industry demand for skilled workers.
Skilling South Australia Project applications closed on 17 December 2021.
Applications submitted before this date will be considered subject to budget availability.
Revised Skilling South Australia Guidelines and information on how to apply will be published in January 2022, subject to demand and budget availability. Future rounds will aim to target emerging and growth industry sectors such as:
- hi-tech and ICT
- energy and resources
- social care.
Skilling South Australia Projects will also focus on support for individuals and groups traditionally under-represented.
