Mental Health First Aid for ACE and RTO staff

Support students and colleagues experiencing mental health issues.

Become an accredited Mental Health First Aider and learn how to provide initial assistance to a person developing a mental health problem or who is in a mental health crisis.

The Department is supporting eligible individuals to undertake:

  • Mental Health First Aid standard course (in-person and blended)
  • Youth Mental Health First Aid (in person and blended)
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Mental Health First Aid (in person)
  • Youth Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Mental Health First Aid (in person).

Places supported by the Department are available to individuals based in South Australia who are delivering training, or supporting the delivery of training to, South Australian students.

Preference will be given to individuals working for an organisation that has a Funded Activities Agreement (FAA) with the Department.
