To apply for an Accelerate scholarship, complete and submit the online application form.

Applications are open until 12pm on Friday 17 December 2021.

Applications will be assessed using the information included in your application and supporting documents.

To improve your chance of receiving a scholarship, you must complete your application in full; incomplete applications are likely to be disadvantaged in the assessment process, and late applications will not be assessed.

All applications will undergo an eligibility and quality assessment by a panel of Departmental staff. Scholarships will be awarded based on:

  • Eligibility (parts A and B of the application form)
  • Competitiveness (part C of the application form).

Where there are a large number of eligible applications, a merit-based assessment of responses to part C of the application form will be undertaken. Key areas of focus for assessment of applications are:

  • Clear and thoughtful approach to undertaking a diploma TAE qualification as part of continual professional development to support practice
  • Broader impact of involvement in the scholarship (i.e. for peers and other scholars)
  • Capacity and capability to balance commitments and complete the scholarship.

Depending on the number of competitive applications, priority may be given to individuals who are employed by an RTO delivering publicly subsidised training in South Australia.

We will notify you by email as soon as the outcome of your application is finalised, which is expected to be in late December 2021 or early January 2022.

If you are successful, you will receive an offer letter with information on how to accept your scholarship offer and the conditions of the offer.

If you are not successful, you may have been ineligible, or we received a large number of competitive applications in comparison to the scholarships available. If the latter, you will be encouraged to apply again for the next available round of scholarships.
