Building capability opportunities

Professional development opportunities are available for VET practitioners and RTO staff to build capability and enhance the delivery of high quality training and assessment.

Maintaining currency in the disability sector

Vocational trainers and assessors who offer qualifications in the disability sector can continue their learning through the VET Practitioner Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program.

In partnership with the Government of South Australia and National Disability Services, the CPD program has been co-designed by disability and training sectors, along with consumers, to maximise the learning experience in a contemporary disability landscape.

The program’s professional development sessions have been aligned with Certificate III Individual Support (Disability) units of competency. As individual sessions they are also suitable for those learning or teaching within allied health, nursing and disability sectors.

For more information and to register for upcoming sessions, visit the National Disability Practitioners website.
